The Full Story
The Constellation was Omega s answer to what a technically superior dress wristwatch would look like. This particular variant is pretty uncommon in the vintage market and one we are really excited to offer. With a brushed textured, Pie-Pan shaped dial, an interesting tonneau-shaped case, and a great Omega bracelet, this one sure has a ton to offer.
This example also has thick applied indexes with black and silver hour markers that enhance legibility. It also gives dimension to the overall look and takes the place of luminous material completely. The hands follow suit with black paint filling as opposed to lume. We are all about these non-lume dials lately, which are slightly easier to wear worry-free than their luminous counterparts. This watch also features a quick-set date which is always welcome and to use it for this watch one must pull the crown all the way out and that will advance the date.Â
The Omega bracelet here is an uncommon variation and fits the look and feel of this watch so well. It is incredibly comfortable and offers a slight stretch if need be. In addition to the slight stretch this bracelet can provide, it has straight end links that work so well with the lugs and case shape.Â

What We Love And What You Should Know
Things We Love:
– Pie-Pan dial shape
– Interesting tonneau case
– Quickset date feature
– Interesting Omega rivet bracelet
Things To Know:
– Scratches on case
– Replacement Omega crownÂ
This Constellation is in overall great and honest condition. The case is strong with scratches throughout. The Observatory caseback emblem and engravings show some wear and patina but everything is clearly visible.
The dial is clean with some light patina and has a few light scratches. The hands and applied details on the dial are in good condition and have developed some patina.Â
The bracelet is in great condition with a bit of scratching. Especially with the expandable design, it is rare to see the links remaining tightly fit after so many years. The clasp has scratches on both sides and is stamped with an Omega logo inside and out as well as No. 11 and 1119 on the inside. The end links are marked 143. The dial, case, movement, crown, crystal, and bracelet are all signed by Omega. The crown is an Omega service replacement, the original crown is included with the watch. The quick-set date feature is working properly. This watch was photographed on a 175mm 6.9inch wrist.
